    Happy Halloween!

Sorry - it's been ten days!!! I know my life is so exciting that you must think I have a TON of things to talk about... but not really. Sorry for the letdown!

I'm a Halloween grinch apparently. I went out on the weekend only to things that involved eating and NOT dressing up!!! I just wasn't into the whole dressing up thing this year! I did put on a feather halo - courtesy of Danielle - today at World Health Club, but that was it!!!

Officially ten days until I HAVE to start dieting for the Arnold. I've been working out pretty regularly, but the eating part could have been better - MUCH better!!! Oh well, I know what I can do in 16 weeks, so I guess I'll get down to it when the time comes!!!

In the meantime, is anyone up for drinks later???

My Sex and the City Girls

So my day consisted of meeting up with my two best girls Heather and Holly. We've been friends since High School (even though I knew Heather in Junior High - I used to be a jerk as a pre-teen) And so it's really been about ten years... Wow!

Anyways, we talk about important things sometimes, but I think it's way more fun to talk about stupid things and just act the way that we do when we are with each other. It's the kinds of conversations that you can't relay past the point of their context. They lose their spark!

We pre-arranged our next gathering though. We hardly ever get all three of us together, so we planned our next date to be at my place during the day where we are going to watch our favorite Sex and the City episodes all day long. I love this idea!!! And I love Sex and the City. These girls got me in the mood to watch some of it, and I stand by my opinion that it is the most fantastic show that was ever on TV. I love everything about it and could re-watch the entire series over and over again. And there's so much that you can relate to in the characters and situations at different parts in your life. I know I've had my Miranda moments (frequently), my Charlotte moments, my Carrie moments, and of course those infamous Samatha moments!!!

I feel like I am reminiscing and obsessed with something that is ridiculous, because it isn't reality, but I can't help it... I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!

Wonderful quote from the episode I watched today:

CARRIE: Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate. Without them, what would shape our lives? Perhaps if we never veered off course, we wouldn't fall in love, or have babies, or be who we are. After all, seasons change. So do cities. People come into your life and people go. But it's comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart. And if you're very lucky, a plane ride away.

    Happy Birthday L-Dog!!!

Lindsay's 19 - tomorrow, but won't read this until then, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINDSAY!!!

Normally, I try to keep my friends over the age of 20, but I can't help myself with this girl. She's a hard-working receptionist by day, and a H-core, exercise inventing, bony rockstar by night. Just for you Linds, I have a list of 10 things that only you and I will find funny... ready and go:

    1. "I HATE THIS PLACE!!!"

    2. You should check your e-mail at least 250 times per day.

    3. Andrew and my lip print.

    4. Starfish and Baby Starfish

    5. Grahamalicious and the second longest hour of my life...

    6. Crazy Russians and hostile situations

    7. Cataracts - not just for seniors anymore.

    8. Your name is girlfriend, and a robot will be doing your job soon...

    9. Sean's music-changing mind powers.

    10. I know you stole my identity.

Oh Lindsay - good times!!! Especially the 5am shifts where we could sleep standing up!!! You're awesome though, hopefully I'll be there when you check this and not stuck in 'traffic'

    Always Good Times...

A co-worker said it best a couple of years ago, when they told me I was a 'party looking for a place to happen!!!'

The place this weekend - Lethbridge, Alberta! Or L.A. as they call it!

Congratulations to Nesta on her job up North in E-Town - the reason for the celebrations!!! Everybody in Heather's Lethbridge 'crew' was super nice and lots of fun... I'm sure I will find a a way down there again sooner or later!!!

But please - leave my wallet alone, people!!! I had a deja vu from two weeks ago when it went missing. I was lucky that time and got it back - this time, not so lucky. It was stolen and my visa was charged several times!!! Honestly, I don't care about that - I just hate the process of replacing all of my ID and other cards - such a hassle!!! That'll teach me for not watching my stuff because I wanted to play the 'punching' game!!!

Someone needs to steal my camera away from me!!! Maybe that would keep me out of trouble!!! Hmmm - maybe not!

    One Year Ago...

One year ago today Heather and I were getting ready to go to the airport to leave for Europe.

I didn't know if my girls at gymnastics were going to be ready to be competitive for the year.

I was working part-time at Curves and coaching at night.

I was planning to take 2006 off for competing in Fitness.

I really wanted to get a cat.

Taso and I were looking for wedding bands.

Funny how much has changed AND happened in the course of only a year.

    Karaoke Night!

Just recovering from an awesome night with the girls!!! I had a cheat meal - but I learned something very important! Do NOT have beer as your cheat meal when you are only consuming a third of the calories that you are used to during the day!!!

At the end of the night I was done!

But during the night I was totally fun!!! I went out with Steph and Sarah who live together, I see Sarah all the time at coaching, but I don't see Steph very much anymore. We're trouble together. Very Fun. We went to a slightly grungy pub which always a good scene for trouble - to our pleasant surprise it was Karaoke night. The crowd was just there to have a good time so we got involved in the games and even sang our 'Idol' quality version of 'I Will Survive!'

And I feel ready to go again tonight!!!

    October is looking up!

I thought September would be a busy month, I never anticipated the October rush!!! People (including myself) are finally getting back on track and my training schedule is filling up fast. If you need to get in with me, make it soon, because I have become unexpected much busier than I had planned. It's a good thing!!! I love my clients and I get really excited when someone has a goal and is willing to do the work to get there. Who knew just one year ago that I would be able to drag my butt out of bed at 3:30am to go to work??? I never envisioned it possible, but I am doing it and it's not that bad!!!

ADULT GYMNASTICS is tonight!!! You know you want to try it!!! It's been a lot of fun lately and it's ongoing every Wednesday night at Stampede City Gymnastic Club, go to www.gym4fun.com for a map. The class goes from 7:30pm - 9pm, everyone is welcome to try it out - NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!!! $10 drop-in.

    Heather, are you coming?

Lindsay - Kilt - this weekend - wear your grad dress! (Sorry, I have a needy BFF)
